What this check means
OpenAI's Content Provenance API checks supported OpenAI Content Credentials and invisible-watermark signals. It does not score whether arbitrary image pixels look AI-generated.
Missing signals are inconclusive. Other generators may not use these signals; sharing and editing may remove them. Invalid credentials are not treated as verified origin.
